This weekend is your chance to get to know yourself & your needs better and test out different practices to find out what works for you:

get up in the morning and try out ayurvedic self-care practices

cleanse your body through breathing techniques and practice yoga asanas aligned with the elements

immerse yourself in nature and connect to the elements and yourself

eat ayurvedic (tri-doshic) food and find out how you can balance your individual constitution through food

learn more about the ayurvedic cuisine in a cooking class

immerse yourself into the Ayurveda and yoga philosophy and find inspiration on your life journey

reflect on your life through coaching input and find new energy for life

Your package

  • 4 morning & evening yoga/meditation sessions playing with the elements

Friday

  • between 15:00-18:00: arrival at the lodge in Schönried

  • 18:30: welcome & dinner

  • 19:30: introduction to Ayurveda

  • 20:00: evening yoga & meditation

Saturday:

  • morning Ayurvedic self-care practices

  • 07:30: morning breathing exercises, yoga & meditation

  • 10:00 brunch

  • 11:30-13:30: mindfulness walk, immersion into nature & the elements

  • 14:00-16:00: free time

  • 16:00: workshop: how to balance your constitution through ayrurvedic food

  • 17:00 Ayurveda vegan cooking class

  • 18:30: dinner

  • short walk & evening self-care practices

  • 20:30: evening yoga & meditation

Sunday

  • 07:30: morning breathing exercises, yoga & meditation

  • 10:00: brunch

  • 11:30-13:30: nature immersion

  • 13:30-15:00 : closing session & departure

a passion for Ayurveda, cooking & yoga

Melanie is a holistic chef passionate about sharing delicious and healthy food that will bring together body, mind and soul. She cooks vegetarian & vegan food following the principles of Ayurveda. She provides balanced meals adapted to spiritual and physical practices, using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients.

SELIN

a passion for personal development, nature & yoga

In March 2020, Selin's path of seeking brought her to a yoga teacher training in India. She had been practicing yoga and meditation on and off since 2015 and loved the calming effect it had on her mind. During that program, she realized that she had only ever touched the surface. By peeling off layer after layer of expectations, perfection, doubts, ego, and numbing; she was able to go much deeper. What she found was the enough-ness and acceptance she always tried to find on the outside. What she found was more clarity and real freedom to just be – to be the whole of herself.

“Really tranquil, interactive and yummy experience

The retreat was held in a lodge located in a beautiful area in Gstaad. Selin did a great job at making the experience cozy, friendly and relaxed, whilst still following covid regulations.

Some highlights of the retreat: The views for the stretching and breathing exercises at sunrise were stunning. Selin’s coaching session was very enlightening and I hold her suggestions and inputs at heart. The yoga sessions were more on the basic level, with possibilities to stretch to an intermediate practice (there was freedom to adjust according to the participants capacities). There were some interesting activities to reflect in habits that could support us in a pursue of a healthier life (I loved the mudras suggestions and Ayurvedic practices!). In that line, the food prepared by Debora was amazing and we got a lot of useful tips and recipes out of it. Also, the surprise fire under a clear night sky was a great touch.

I am really glad to have participated and I feel anybody looking for a calmed, down to earth space to be with themselves (or share with like-minded people) will feel the same way. I look forward to the next season’s planning.”
